Customizing the Page Numbers

Word no longer limits you to a plain old number at the top or bottom of the page. You’ll find a wide selection of designs that allow you to place the page number inside a graphic at the top, bottom, or side of the page. And, as with most of Word’s design elements, if you can’t find the right one, you can create your own page-number design, and you can make it as dramatic or evocative as you like.
