Chapter 19. Building a Presentation
When you first start PowerPoint, the PowerPoint New Presentation task pane gives you several options for starting a new presentation. With the first option, Blank Presentation, you start with a blank slide and build the presentation from scratch, choosing a layout for each slide. With the second option, From Design Template, you choose a design for the presentation and then enter your own content. The From AutoContent Wizard option offers a menu of presentations that already contain sample content. These presentations are also preformatted using appropriate designs. In addition, you can opt to create a new presentation from an existing file, or choose to begin a presentation from the Templates dialog box.
