4.3. Importing Access Data into Excel 2007
It is amazing to see how much data resides in Access databases around the world. This makes sense when you realize that Access has been the de facto departmental database for many years now—and it is part of the Office suite of products. Excel 2007 makes it easy to connect to Access data, and we'll start with a direct connection to Access, as shown in Figure 4-20.

Click the Get External Data icon, in the Connections menu group on the Ribbon menu Data tab.
Click the From Access icon, in the Get External Data pop-up menu.
