Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 1

Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 1 (SP1) is scheduled to be released in third quarter 2010. Traditionally, service packs have been bug fixes and security updates. Of course, SP1 still includes all Exchange 2010 RTM Update Rollups and several other bug fixes, but also includes additional functionality and some new features.

SP1 also comes with a schema update that requires you to plan the update accordingly. Table 1-4 provides an overview of what is newly added by SP1 and in which chapter of this book you can find more information.
