2.1 Why Would You Want to Scale?
Scalability is the ability of a system or a group of systems to grow in pro-
cessing and storage capability without architectural modifications.
Applied to software engineering and telecommunications, according to
wikipedia.org, scalability indicates the capability of a system to increase
total throughput under an increased load when resources (typically hard-
ware) are added.
