ESEUTIL. In our lab environments, we tested how fast we could go on an
ideal SAN storage array configuration (>100 drives for the database engine,
recent generation controllers). Figure 2.34 shows the read throughput of
the ESEUTIL command based upon the throttling parameter.
From this, and based upon your storage configuration and the controller
capability to support both the production workload and the ESEUTIL
checksum workload, you can determine the best throttling value. In our
