SAN boot is a great approach for ensuring business continuity with
reduced complexity. You should take advantage of the technology, but
always remember what your goals are. Using RAIS with SAN boot is not a
one-to-one replacement of Microsoft clustering for Windows servers. In
fact, some of the operations listed here can be quite complex, even more
so than MSCS.
