Duwamish Books is also an electronic commerce application. However, the key focus is that Duwamish Books has been implemented in both Visual Basic .NET as well as Visual C# .NET. The focus isn't performance metrics, though, but on flexibility for developers to utilize their own preferred programming language (in this case, C# or Visual Basic .NET). Duwamish Books is an n-tier application developed using ASP.NET, Managed Components, and ADO.NET DataSets using SQL Server Data Provider.
