Cold Storage

Focusing on the usage of Web services, the Cold Storage sample application illustrates how you can use Web services to store and retrieve any data. The application comprises two modules: One implements the Web services, and the second is a Windows Forms–based rich application that uses the Web service to access the data. In some sense, the Cold Storage application previews functionality of what would be provided by the SQL Server Yukon (the next-generation SQL Server) release as well.
