Unlike SharePoint Foundation 2010, SharePoint Server 2010 includes the option to customize an existing theme via the Web interface and make changes such as the existing theme font type or font color. Customizing a theme in SharePoint Server 2010 is an alternative option to going back and modifying the original theme in the Office application in which you created it, such as PowerPoint, and then re-uploading the theme to the Theme Gallery.
