Hyperlinking Fields in Data View Rollups

When you initially create an aggregated DFWP, field items are typically included as plain text. This means that users can simply view the aggregated details but cannot actually click through to the originating list or display form and edit items. If you want a read-only view then the default value of plain text is probably acceptable. In a typical intranet environment, though, users might want to click through to view additional list item details. Therefore, in this section you see how to hyperlink aggregated DFWP items.
