In Microsoft SharePoint Foundation 2010, there is a change of emphasis: a SharePoint site is now seen as a collection of webpages. In Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, a site was seen as a container for list and library data, and webpages were used to display data held in the lists and libraries. The webpage most commonly used, was the Web Part page where the addition of static text and images was possible only by adding the Content Editor Web Part (CEWP) or the Image Web Part.
