The purpose of business intelligence (BI) is to provide you with information that you can use to make decisions to improve the performance of your organization. So far, you have been using Analysis Services to provide information. You have viewed data from Analysis Services using a cube browser and executed actions that pass data and instructions for using that data from Analysis Services to other applications.
