Analysis Services Dynamic Management Views

Dynamic Management Views (DMV) allow you to retrieve Analysis Services server state and metadata using the Transact SQL language. These views expose information that in prior versions of Analysis Services was only available using XML for Analysis Services. The new capability to query Dynamic Management Views using SQL means that you can document Analysis Services design, resource utilization, and performance using a reporting tool like SQL Server Reporting Services.
