Customization: It’s Back

When Word 2007 was released, many people complained because the Ribbon was not easily customizable. You could customize the Quick Access toolbar via the Word Options dialog box, but further Ribbon customization required special utilities and an understanding of XML.

With Word 2010, Microsoft has listened to customer feedback and provided a robust way of customizing the Ribbon.
