In the various examples in this book, we’ve made extensive use of Visual Studio and SharePoint Designer to create and deploy custom code to SharePoint. By now you should have a good idea of how projects are structured in Visual Studio and how this structure relates to the entities that are created in SharePoint.
The projects we’ve worked on so far have been relatively small, and we’ve deployed to a single development server.
