Content
The Content part of SharePoint Server 2010 identifies with management of content, whether that content is a Web page, a document, or a set of documents. It also recognizes provisions made for records management of the content that is created. The content routing functionality that was previously part of the SharePoint Server 2007 Records Center is included as part of SharePoint Server 2010 sites, for example, documents are uploaded to a Drop Off Library within a site and are automatically routed to the correct library according to the metadata and content rules created by the site owner.
