Site Collections and Tenant Administration

An important part of SharePoint 2010 architecture is the newly introduced tenant administration, which allows hosts to easily delegate management of site collections to their customers. For instance, in Figure 2.6, the host has chosen to enable services, including InfoPath Forms Services, User profile application, Term Store management, Secure Store, and Business Data Connectivity services, that can be managed by the customer.
