Ribbon Behavior in Anonymous Sites

A major consideration when customizing and designing SharePoint 2010 anonymous sites is in how you manage visibility of the ribbon. Typically, the ribbon is not required by anonymous users, so ideally you hide the ribbon from anonymous users and then include some logic whereby the ribbon only displays when an authenticated user is logged into the site.

Some people feel the need to include the ribbon on anonymous sites where a contact or feedback form is included, which is incorrect.
