Save Conflicts: Avoid Clobbering Other User’s Edits
SharePoint 2010 has built-in editing controls that help prevent one user overwriting another user’s edits as shown in Figure 5.40. See the “Checking out Pages for Editing: Avoiding Edit Collision” section in Chapter 11, “Understanding SharePoint Designer Editing Features,” for further discussion.
