Page Commands Common to Wiki and Publishing Pages
The ribbon’s Page tab, shown in Figure 5.57, includes some common commands, shared by Wiki and publishing pages, including the following:
• Edit: Includes options to switch the current page into edit mode; save and close the page; save and keep editing; stop editing (prompt to save or discard changes); and edit in SharePoint Designer.
• Check Out: This command is enabled even if enforced check out is not configured on the Pages or Site Pages (Wiki Page library) library. Includes options to check out; check in; discard check out; override check out.
