Creating New Content Pages with SharePoint Designer
Existing content pages are typically stored in a Wiki Page library, or the default Site Pages library provisioned as part of a site template such as the Enterprise Wiki site template or Team site template. Where a site’s Wiki Site Home Page Feature is activated, the Site Pages library is also used as the basis for storing a site’s home page.
The content page creation process in SharePoint Designer is similar to creating new pages in the Web interface, with the following exceptions:
