Create a New Web Part Page from the Ribbon
Here, you learn how to create new Web part pages in SharePoint Designer via the ribbon. To create a new Web part page, follow these steps:
1. Open your site in SharePoint Designer 2010.
2. Create a new Web part page from the Site Page library by navigating to the site’s Site Pages library by clicking the Site Pages tab in the left-hand navigational menu.
3. In the Site Pages library, in the ribbon’s New group, click the Web Part Page command to access the Web part page templates, as shown in Figure 12.13.
