Adding and Styling Tables
Working with tables in SharePoint Designer has several advantages over that of working with tables in the Web interface. For instance, in SharePoint Designer you are able to easily control the textual vertical alignment in table cells and remove or add table borders.

When working with and formatting tables in Wiki pages there are four style options: light (which is the default style), clear, light banded and medium two tones (see Figure 13.47). When you work with the light style text automatically aligns (vertically) at the top of each table cell.
