Changing a Site’s Master Page in SharePoint Designer
You can change a site’s master page in SharePoint Designer by accessing Master Pages and right-clicking a master page and then clicking Set as Default Master Page or Set as Custom Master Page (see Figure 17.14).

The Set as Default and Set as Custom commands are also available in the ribbon’s Actions group in the Master Page Gallery (see Figure 17.15).
