Using the CombinedNavSiteMapProvider
Site Map Provider
The CombinedNavSiteMapProvider
site map provider is specific to SharePoint Server 2010 sites and is used as an alternative for displaying the top-level menu. By default the top-level navigation site map provider used in the v4.master page is the SPNavigationProvider
site map, shown in Listing 17.5.
