Deployment Considerations

One of the upfront design decisions in implementing your SharePoint deployment is whether you should use themes within your site collection/s, along with site templates, master pages, and other design attributes. Obviously, if you’ve chosen to go down the path of creating a custom master page and custom CSS files, you might choose not to use themes or use themes in some site collections and not others.
