Managing SharePoint Views

View management in SharePoint includes options to add and remove columns, sort, filter, inline editing view in tabular form (which provides a checkbox alongside items in a list to help ribbon interaction and command activation), group by, total, style, manage folders (how items in folders appear in the view), limit items per view, and manage mobile views. You can modify view settings via the Web interface by accessing the relevant view page on the list or library settings page. Figure 22.3 shows the available view setting options for an existing view.
