Changing the View Style

The view style is driven by XSLT and determines how the view renders in the Web interface. Default view styles available in SharePoint Designer are derived from the vwstyles.xsl file located on the SharePoint Web front-end server:

%SystemDrive%\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS\XSL

There are eight view styles available when working with XLVs, shown in Figure 23.67.
