Applying Custom XSLT Files via the Web Interface

You’ve just seen how to apply custom XSLT view styles in SharePoint Designer. However, after you’ve created custom XSLT view styles, you can also reference those view styles by adding the link to the XSL Link section in the XLV’s configuration, shown in Figure 23.84. This avoids the need to open the list in SharePoint Designer.
