Creating New, Edit, and Display Item Forms

So far in this chapter, you’ve seen how to create and style XLVs in SharePoint Designer. In this section, you find out how to create the accompaniment to XLVs—DFWPs in the form of New Item, Edit Item, and Display Item forms, shown in Figure 23.85. Specifically you learn how both XLVs and DFWPs can work hand-in-hand to create a data entry page in a SharePoint site. Chapter 25 covers the form creation process in lists and document libraries, which is slightly different from creating forms using the options shown in Figure 23.85.
