Styling the CrossList DFWP

There is no shaded view style for DFWPs, which is different than working with XLVs in SharePoint Designer. For instance, if you want every second row of the DFWP to be shaded then you need to add the shading using an alternative method. Perform the following steps to apply an alternating style to a DFWP.

1. Click the ribbon’s Home tab and then click the Skewer Click command.

2. Click inside the DFWP and in the Skewer Click element selection, click the tr element to select a row within the DFWP (table) (see Figure 24.55).
