Modifying List Form Column (field) Widths
Sometimes when working with list forms, column widths can overly limit visibility of column contents. For instance, Figure 25.77 shows the predecessor columns on the new form for a Tasks list. The two items in the left-hand predecessor column are partially obscured and it is not possible to scroll within the column to view the entire contents. When you create custom list forms you have the opportunity to increase column width.
