Process for Creating Separate Content Type (Custom) Forms

When you add a new content type to your list then a new folder for that content type is dynamically created under the list. The folder name is the same name as the content type. For example, in the list shown in Figure 25.85, two additional content types have been added in addition to the default content type Announcement, namely Event and Item. By default, the content type folders are empty. The current default new form is named customnew.aspx and is currently used as the new form for all three content types.
