Creating InfoPath List Forms

Now that you’ve had a chance to digest details about InfoPath 2010 and understand some of the other uses of InfoPath in SharePoint Server 2010, it’s time to move on to working with InfoPath list forms. In this section, you learn how to customize SharePoint list forms with InfoPath and also how to enrich forms using InfoPath formatting features.

Note

InfoPath 2007 is not supported when working with InfoPath list forms in SharePoint 2010. Attempting to replace a list, or open an existing list form using InfoPath 2007 or where InfoPath is not installed, fails and throws the dialog shown in Figure 26.26.
