Working with the Out-of-the-Box Workflows

As already mentioned, SharePoint Server 2010 comes with several workflows you can use without having to open SharePoint Designer, all you have to do is create an instance of the workflow. Within the browser, however, you can customize the workflows to the instance you are creating. For example, each time you run an approval workflow on a document, you can specify the approver by entering the user name into the Assign To field, shown in an approval workflow initiation form in Figure 27.1.
