Time for action - creating a Silverlight project

Enough of the theory, let's create a Silverlight project and play around a bit. To do this you will need to do the following:

  1. Launch Visual Studio and click on File | New Project.
  2. Choose to create a new Silverlight Application as shown below, then click OK.

  3. When the following dialog box comes up asking you to optionally create a new ASP.NET web project, accept the default settings and click OK:
