Using Writeback to Modify Analysis Services Data

The purpose of business intelligence (BI) is to provide you with information that you can use to make decisions to improve the performance of your organization. So far, you have been using Analysis Services to provide information. You have viewed data from Analysis Services using a cube browser and executed actions that pass data and instructions for using that data from Analysis Services to other applications. You have been a consumer of information provided by Analysis Services. You can use that information to make decisions that are usually expressed as numbers.
