Accessing Reports in SharePoint

In Chapter 10, you learned how to open a report in the reports library, a special type of document library in a SharePoint Web application. If the Office SharePoint Server Search service has been configured on the SharePoint server, you can search for reports if you don’t know which reports library contains the report that you want to access. A toolbar in the SharePoint Report Viewer allows you to manage the report display much like the HTML Viewer in Report Manager. You can view a report in isolation by clicking the report link in the reports library, or you can combine multiple reports for display on a single page by creating a dashboard.
