Programming Reporting Access

To complete the final phase of the reporting life cycle, you can provide access to reports programmatically. As one example, you can create Web pages that include links to reports managed on your report server and thereby bypass Report Manager or SharePoint to display reports. As another example, you can easily develop a Windows or Web application that uses the ReportViewer control that ships with Visual Studio 2008 to embed your Reporting Services reports into custom applications.
