Chapter 3. Understanding deployment scenarios
Because SQL Server 2012, including Reporting Services, is not a single application but consists of multiple components, there are multiple ways to implement it in your organization. In this chapter, we review the most common deployment scenarios for “out-of-the-box” Reporting Services. For each scenario, there are several key considerations to help you decide which deployment is best suited for your environment.
Single-server deployment
