Chapter 7. Business Rules and Workflow

One of the more powerful features of Master Data Services will be covered in this chapter, namely the business rules engine. We will look at the different types of business rules that can be created within MDS, covering the various conditions and actions that can help to make an MDS solution so flexible.

In this chapter, we will cover the following topics:

  • Introduction to MDS business rules
  • Conditions and actions
  • Business rules user interface
  • Creating business rules
