Chapter 36. Managing Reports in SharePoint

Reports get published to the SharePoint document library via report-authoring tools or simply get uploaded as a Report Definition Language (RDL) file. Once reports are available in the SharePoint document library, various menu options allow interaction with the integrated Report Server to manage report capabilities such as subscriptions, report history, parameters, and report-processing options (see Figure 36.1).
