10. Windows Store and Games

The Windows Store is where you’ll find apps for use with the Surface tablet. This includes things like productivity apps, sports apps, and book readers. (As of this writing, there is no bookstore in the Windows Store, so if you want to use the tablet as an e-reader and buy books, you’ll need to download an app such as Kindle or Barnes & Noble’s Nook from the Windows Store.) The Windows Store is also where you’ll find updates for all the apps on the tablet—even those that came preloaded.
