Chapter 9. Step 4: Design the Storage
Now that the logical design for protection is complete, the storage required for that protection can be designed. If there is not enough storage space available when a DPM protection job runs, the job will fail. Table D-1 in Appendix D: "Storage Planning" provides a reference for the storage requirements of DPM for different protection designs, which can be useful during the storage design in this step.
