Installing UNIX/Linux Agents
The OpsMgr UNIX/Linux agent can be deployed in much the same way as a Windows agent. The UNIX/Linux agent has dependencies that vary by the specific operating system. The dependencies can be found online on the Microsoft website at the following link: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd789030.aspx. These dependencies vary greatly from version to version and include the following required components:
• Packages
• Minimum versions
• Patches
