Data Protection Manager 2012, the topic of this and the next chapter, expands on the core functionality built over the previous generations of the product, further enhancing administration and backup support. Specifically, the following features are new to DPM 2012:
• Centralized management—New to DPM 2012 is its ability to centrally monitor and provide remote administration and recovery capabilities for administrators.
