Non-Microsoft workload protection in DPM

Being able to protect non-Microsoft workloads in DPM has always been in demand among the DPM community. Many environments have workloads such as Linux, VMware, and Oracle. These workloads often run on critical line-of-business applications so they need to be protected. Even with the release of DPM 2012, many non-Microsoft workloads still cannot be protected natively.
