The Start Page: Where Your Developing Endeavors Begin

Now that you have selected the Development Settings, the first document launched in Visual Studio IDE is the Start Page. The Start Page is a “welcome” page that provides one-stop access to common tasks, such as creating new projects, opening existing projects, and getting learning resource and news updates on Visual Studio itself. Figure 3-3 shows the various parts of the Start Page.
