IntelliSense Support for LINQ To XML Queries

When working with XML data, it is very useful to have IntelliSense support in the integrated development environment (IDE). Visual Basic 2010 adds this support, as shown in Figure 26-1.

You can use this support by importing an XML Schema Definition (XSD) file via Import in the code files. But let’s start at the beginning. Microsoft Visual Studio can create an XSD file for you. First, you create the XML file that contains all the required characteristics, as illustrated in Figure 26-2).
